I am a resilient, empathetic, driven and compassionate woman who believes that our experiences (both the good and the bad), shape the person that we become.
I am proud of the woman that I have grown into - someone who values family, kindness, perseverance, leadership and using my experiences to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
For the past ten years, I have built my career within the insurance industry, specialising in claims and working alongside people during the most challenging and uncertain moments of their lives.
Becoming a mother after a four year journey with infertility has been one of the most defining experiences of my life. It has taught me patience, strength and an appreciation for the moments that we can easily take for granted.
I have also faced and overcome workplace bullying - a time which challenged my confidence but also allowed me to find my voice and stand up for myself.
What once was a difficult chapter of my life, has become something that I use to encourage others who may be facing similar challenges.
Through this, it has led me to work alongside Solid Hearts Charitable Trust, an organisation whose advocacy is to raise awareness around emotional, physical and sexual abuse.
Being involved with Solid Hearts has given me the opportunity to turn some of my own experiences into something positive and advocate for others who may not yet feel that they are able to speak for themselves.
Throughout my career and involvement within pageantry, I have discovered a genuine passion for people.
My goal is to create opportunities where they can be empowered, valued, supported and celebrated, whilst also challenging myself, growing as a leader and using my voice to create a legacy for future generations.
